Sometimes, the administrator may have to restart a server or install updates. To determine whether it is a good time to shut down a batch server, use the Batch job form to verify the status of batch jobs. If jobs are in progress, you can view their percentage complete. You can also see whether any jobs are scheduled to start soon.
