You can view or edit Microsoft Dynamics AX information that has been integrated in to Microsoft Office Project Professional. Follow these steps to navigate from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Office Project Professional.

Click Project> Setup> Microsoft Project Server Integration> Configure integraton .
Select the project server applications that you want, and then click the icon located in the Project web access sitefield to access the Office Project Web Access (PWA) site.
In the Office PWA site, select the project you want to view and then click Edit.

Some of the terms used in Microsoft Dynamics AX and Office Project Professional are the same, and some are different. A Project in Microsoft Dynamics AX, is a termed a Project in Office Project Professional. However, Employees and Activities in Microsoft Dynamics AX are termed Resources and Tasks, respectively, in Office Project Professional.

As soon as you have opened the project you want to view, you can select to view project, task, or resource information.

View project information

You can view project information in a Gantt chart or an Enterprise Gantt chart.

Click Viewand select the chart that you want to use to view the project information.
Click Project> Project information….

DAX_02_Customer	View the name of the customer who the project is for.
DAX_01_IntegrateProject	View whether the project has been selected for integration.

DAX_07_ProjectStatus	View the current status of the selected project.
DAX_05_ProjectType	View the project type of the selected project.

View task information

You can view task information in a Gantt chart or an Enterprise Gantt chart.

Click Viewand select the chart that you want to use to view the project information.
Click Project> Task information….
