A bill of materials (BOM) can be reported as finished when no further changes are necessary and you want to post the inventory transactions. You can report a BOM as finished from two different locations in the application.

Select > . Select the BOM item you want to report as finished, click , and then click .

To post the item issue and receipt transactions immediately, select the check box.

An Infolog message tells you when the process is complete. You can see the posted or unposted inventory transactions (depending on the selection you made) in the journal.
