This information is relevant for Austrian companies that pay a fee for materials used to pack goods. The payment goes to an official office named Altstoff Recycling Austria AG (ARA). A report is typically submitted on a monthly basis.

The ARA office provides a form in Portable Document Format (PDF) to be used for submitting the information.

1. Download the most recent PDF file from the official ARA site at www.ara.atand fill in required company data, such as company name, address, and registration numbers.

   This step is usually done once only and needs to be repeated only when new forms are available or existing forms are updated.

2. Open the Packing material fee calculationreport from Inventory management> Reports> Packing material> Packing material fee calculation.

3. Fill in the information, as appropriate, and generate the report.

4. Transfer the quantities information from the Microsoft Dynamics AX report to the PDF form; all other information is calculated automatically.

5. Print the PDF document and send it to the ARA office.
