Carefully consider all settings in the form before employees start reporting time for production jobs.

The parameters for integrating to Production are set up on the following tabs:

  • - General parameter settings for production jobs in Shop floor control.

  • - Parameters that are used when operations are started.

  • - Parameters that are applied to operations and feedback on operations.

  • - Parameters that are used when items are reported as finished on the last operation of the production order.

  • - Parameters for validating quantities on feedback and start quantities.

Types of production jobs

On the tab, select which types of jobs require registration.

Typically, employees register on setup and process jobs. But if job scheduling is applied, you can select other job types, for example transport jobs.

Important Important

Make sure that all relevant job types are selected. Otherwise, jobs may not be available for registration. Also, align your selections with in the form.

If is selected for a specific job type on the route group, this job type will be reported as finished on the production order when the job is reported finished in Shop floor control.

If all job types where is selected have been reported as finished, Shop floor control will also report the operation as finished.

Note Note

Some job types may be reported manually through production journals. If this is the case, select for this job type, but do not select the job type for registration in Shop floor control.

Posting picking list journals

You can generate and post picking list journals at various stages of the production order.

Picking list journals can be generated at the following times:

  • When an operation is started.

  • When quantity feedback is reported on an operation.

  • When items are reported as finished on the production order.

You can also implement the flushing principle of the BOM item. The following three fields must be considered:

  • The field on the tab

  • The field on the tab.

  • The field on the tab.

The quantity of each BOM item is calculated by the quantity that has been started or reported as finished.

The following examples illustrate some common parameter settings in the form:

Example 1 - Backflushing on operations

Use the following settings if picking list journals with the BOM item consumption must be generated when items are reported as finished on an operation.
