is a production stage where parts of or the whole quantity of a production order is finished and physically received on stock.

Reporting production orders as finished mainly consists of posting the production report as Finished Journal. When carrying out this process, you can automatically post two other production journals, a route card, and a picking list.

Report production as finished

To report a production as finished follow these steps:

  1. Select > form.

  2. On the tab, select the production order that you want to report as finished.

  3. Click the button, and then select . NoteIf you have not selected the parameter in > > > , you cannot select the option.

  4. Click the tab.

  5. In the field, enter the number of correctly made items that you would like to report as finished. When the Report as finished form is opened, the field is automatically filled in with the quantity that remains to be finished. You can change this quantity if you need to.

  6. In the field, enter the number of defective items that have been reported as finished.

  7. If you expect no more items to be produced for the production order, select the check box. The production order's status is changed to Reported as finished. Otherwise, clear the check box.

  8. If you want to skip all checks that occur before the posting of the Report as finished journal, select the check box. You can do this for checks such as those that are done to find out whether all materials are deducted from inventory or whether all operations are completed.

  9. Click OK. The Report as finished journal is posted and good quantity of finished item is physically received on stock.

Post production journals

You can post route card and picking list journals while reporting production as finished.

Note Note

You can also post these when you start a production order. This means that you need to be careful not to post the same journals twice and double-post consumption.


Post route card journal

  1. Go to > > > > tab.

  2. In the field, select how you want to post the Route Card Journal. If you select , nothing is posted. However, if you also select , the journal is posted, each line has zero consumption, and the field in the posted route card is marked (find the field here: > button > > ). This means that you expect no more consumption to be posted for the operation.

  3. Post a route card journal for specific operations by specifying the operations in the and fields. When those fields are empty, all operations are included in the route card journal.

  4. Select whether the production order should be reported as finished by using the parameter. This parameter is only enabled when you specify an operation in step 3.

Post picking list journal

  1. Go to > > > > tab.

  2. In the field, select how you want to post the Picking List Journal. If you select , nothing is posted. However, if is also checked, then the journal is posted, each journal line has zero consumption, and the field in the Picking List Journal is marked (find the field here: > > > ). This means that you expect no more consumption to be posted for the material, and the remaining quantity for the material is reset.
