You can record the history of an element within a service BOM. Every time that you update a BOM line, a history line is created in the pane that shows the current state of the BOM line.

Update a service BOM element

  1. Click > , and select the service agreement where you want to update a service BOM line.

  2. Click , and then select .

  3. In the form, select the object where you want to update a BOM line, and then click .

  4. In the form, select the BOM line that you want to update, and then click the icon.

  5. In the dialog box, select the check box if you want to register a replacement of an item, and then enter the quantity in the field.

  6. Select the check box if you want to create a service order line for the replacement item, which can then be invoiced.

  7. Click OKto close the dialog box.

Note Note

Leave the check box, in the dialog box, blank if you want to change the quantity of an item.
Tip Tip

If you select the check box on the tab, in the form, the dialog box will automatically be displayed if you drag-and-drop a line into your service BOM.

Delete a service BOM line

  1. Click > , and select the service agreement where you want to delete a service BOM line.

  2. Click , and then select .

  3. In the form, select the object where you want to delete a service BOM line, and then click .

  4. In the form, select the BOM line that you want to delete, and then click .
