Use this procedure to release production orders to the shop floor. If the production order that you select is not already estimated or scheduled, the system will automatically run an estimation and operation and/or job scheduling process before it is released.

1. From the Production> Periodic> Update> Releaseform, select the production order from which you want to release.

2. On the Overviewtab, select or clear the Referencescheck box. If it is selected, subproductions will also be released.

3. On the Generaltab, select or clear the Print job card, Print route joband Print job cardcheck boxes, and then click OK.

You can also release production orders from the Production> Production ordersform. Select the order, and click Update> Release. The same procedure applies.
