The Table node is used to specify that one or more of the product model's variables should be filled in with values selected from one or more fields in a specific Microsoft Dynamics AX table.

  1. In the form, ( > > ), in the lower pane, right-click the node, point to and select .

    A new node is added to the bottom of the modeling tree. If you want to insert a node into a particular position in the tree, drag it from the node list displayed on the left.

  2. On the tab, select the Microsoft Dynamics AX table from which values should be fetched.

  3. Click the tab to define which records in the table you want to fetch values from.

  4. Select either or to determine the type of value you want to specify in the field.

  5. In the field, select any field from the table specified on the tab.

    A table field that is specified here will be used as a look up key to locate the information that you want from the selected table.

  6. Depending on your choice in the field, you can specify a look up key value in the field either as a fixed value or by reference to one of the product model's variables.

  7. Click the tab to specify which table fields you want to fetch data from and which variables the values from the table should be assigned to.

  8. Enter one line for each table field you want to transfer a value from. On each line, specify the names of the required table fields, in the field, and of the variables that should receive each table field value, in the field.
