The Code node is used to insert X++ code in the product model and is intended for users who have some programming experience.

1. In the Product Model Details form, ( Product Builder> Product models> Product model), in the lower pane, right-click the Modeling treenode, point to Newand select Code node.

   A new node is added to the bottom of the modeling tree. If you want to insert a node into a particular position in the tree, drag it from the node list displayed on the left.

2. In the Descriptionfield, type the description for the node.

3. In the Codefield, write the X++ code to be executed during item configuration.

4. Click Testto test the code syntax.

5. Click OKto save the code.
