Over time, Microsoft Dynamics AX accumulates many registrations. This may slow the application. To increase performance, we recommend that you clean up the registration table.

When removing outdated registrations from the registration table, you can delete them, export them to a file, or transfer them to an archive table.

Important Important

No unprocessed data will be deleted. However, it is possible to delete processed data, which may be data that you need to keep.

Clean up the registration table

  1. Click > > > .

  2. Make your selections and click OK.

    You can delete the registrations, archive the registrations in another table, or export the registrations to a file. The value that you enter in box indicates the maximum number of days worth of registrations that you want kept in the registration table.

Caution note Caution

Make sure that you do not delete registrations that you may later need for documentation purposes.

View archived registrations

If you have transferred registrations to an archive table, you are still able to view them.

  1. Click > > > .

  2. Select the relevant employee and then click .

  3. Select the relevant date.
