Responsibility assignments in Microsoft Dynamics AX enables you to have the assigned employee title automatically assigned to new procedures and tasks. Identifying and assigning process responsibilities on an organizational level can make it easier and more efficient to assign the right staff to specific tasks such as developing and carrying out marketing campaigns.

When responsibility assignments are made in the system, you do not need to remember or track which employee or employee title is assigned to a specific activity in your business process. If the employee title that appears is not correct for a particular task, you can change it.

For example, if the Sales manager is responsible for tracking opportunities in your company's sales processes, selecting the Opportunitycheck box on the Sales manager line will automatically assign the Sales manager to all opportunities.
