You can use the Fixed asset mass update form to update the depreciation convention for a group of assets in a depreciation book.

1. Click General ledger> Periodic> Fixed assets> Mass update

2. Select the depreciation book.

3. Enter the starting and ending dates that assets were placed in service. Assets that are a part of the depreciation book that you selected and have been placed in service between these dates will be updated.

4. Select the depreciation convention to change in the Current depreciation conventionfield.

5. Select the depreciation convention to change the assets to in the New depreciation conventionfield.

6. You can click OKto update the assets with the details that you selected. To choose additional details to restrict assets by, click Select.
