Periodic activities such as recalculation of costs and quantities are run in the > form.
Calculations
The following periodic activities are related to usual calculation of costs and quantities:

is used to calculate the cost balances according to all marked as target in the > > form. Only one period calculation per period is saved and the previous calculation is deleted.

resembles the . The only difference is that you can use different and each period calculation is saved and registered in the form. This means that you can rerun the calculation at a later point in time.
Transfer of Transactions
There are also periodic activities related to the transfer of transactions from other modules. Transfer of transactions is especially useful when you start working with the module. Transactions may already exist in other modules and you may have to transfer them to the module. It is also useful when you add a dimension for a cost category to create additional transactions for this dimension. The following activities in > > are used to transfer transactions:

The following periodic activities are used for recalculation of costs when you use cost splitting. If the cost splitting of the cost category is changed, you must recalculate costs.
