When handling employment applications, companies typically send the applicant either:

  • A hard copy document.

  • An e-mail document.

Companies commonly receive numerous responses to job advertisements, which can make the task of corresponding with each applicant a burden. To avoid this, you can use the and features to automatically prepare documents for communicating with applicants. However, before you can use either feature you must first:

  • Specify the application bookmarks that you want to use.

  • Create either document templates or application e-mail templates.

Both types of communications are stored in the folder.

About application bookmarks

You can use application bookmarks to insert existing data into either an application document or application e-mail's text. The tables on the tab have been predefined according to the correspondence action, and cannot be changed. On the tab, you can select the fields from each table that contain the data you want to insert into your template.

About document and application e-mail templates

To automatically create documents and e-mails you must first choose application bookmarks and then create the text into which you want to insert an applicant's information. In order to use the:

  • feature, you need to create application e-mail templates.

  • feature, you need to create a document template, such as a .dot file in Microsoft Word.

You should create one template for each correspondence action.

Employed

Print a letter confirming employment.
