1. Click Project> Projects.

2. Select a project.

3. On the Setuptab, select the Categorycheck box.

   The validation setup in the Project/categoryform ( Project> Setup> Validation) now applies to the current project.

1. Click Basic> Employee.

2. Select an employee.

3. On the Setuptab, select the Categoryand/or Projectcheck boxes.

   The validation setup in the Project/employeeand/or the Category/employeeforms ( Project Setup, Validation) now applies to the current employee.

If the check boxes are selected, the project parameters apply; if they are cleared, the parameters are overridden.

The parameters None, Lookup, and Mandatoryare used to define the display of the following:

• Project/category

• Project/employee

• Category/employee
