Crediting an invoiced amount is a two-step procedure. First, the invoiced amount has to be selected for crediting, and then a credit note can be created by applying the same procedure as when creating an invoice.

Select transactions posted on an invoice for crediting

  1. Click > or > to select the project or invoice project where the amount to be credited is invoiced.

  2. In the form or the form, click > , and then select the appropriate invoice or invoices.

  3. Click > .

  4. In the form on the tab, select the check box to select all transactions for credit note creation. Alternatively, you can select transactions for credit note creation individually on the different transaction type tabs.

Create a credit note proposal and post the proposal

  1. Click > or > to select the project or invoice project with the transactions selected to be credited.

  2. From the form or the form, click > > .

  3. In the dialog box, in the field, select or , and then select the appropriate transaction type under .

  4. Click .

  5. Delete any transactions that you do not want to include in the credit note.

  6. Click in the form to create the credit note.

Note Note

Selecting in the dialog box creates invoice proposals both for invoicing and crediting.
