The calculation parameters are used in the calculation of time and pay in Shop Floor Control.

Based on the combination of different Registration types and Profile types, you specify how time is calculated with regard to working hours and paid time. For additional information on profile types, see About profile types.

Registration types

Registration type

Description

The employee is at work.

The employee is not at work, but the selected absence group does not deduct from their overtime or reduce their flex balance.

For example, the absence could be due to illness or to taking an external training course.

The employee is not at work, but the selected absence group deducts from their overtime. However, the flexible hours balance is not reduced.

For example, this can be used if an employee is late for work but plans to make up the hours (if this is allowed).

The employee is not at work. The selected absence group does not deduct from their overtime, but reduces their flex balance.

For example, this can be used if an employee takes a whole day off to reduce their flexible hours balance.

The employee is not at work. The absence group deducts from the employee's overtime and reduces the flex balance.

For example, this can be used if an employee is allowed to work flexible hours but clocks in after the Flex-period tolerance is over without having a valid excuse for the absence.

The employee is not at work in a flexible hours reducing time zone. The employee gets paid and the flex balance is reduced.

Absence groups

When absence groups are set up, the and the fields on the tab define which registration type is applied.

If is registered during profile type , after the time is calculated, it is included in , and .

When paid time is calculated, pay is generated from the following Wage types:

This means that when working overtime, an employee receives the standard pay plus an overtime bonus plus premiums (for example an operation bonus or a seniority bonus).

Clear the box in the profile group if overtime is only used to generate the overtime bonus (without the standard pay) and the premiums.
