Click Inventory management> Setup> Dimensions> Item dimensions.

Select Configurations, Sizes, or Colorsdepending on the item dimension you want to create or maintain.

Press CTRL+N to create a new dimension or select an existing dimension to modify it.

If you want to create a new dimension, enter an item number in the Item numberfield.

In the Configuration, Size, or Colorfield, type a value, for example S, M, L, and XL if the item dimension is Size, and in the Namefield type a description of the size, for example Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large.

Optionally, click the Descriptiontab and type a description of the dimension.

Click Combinationsto create or change the Create and maintain item dimension combinationsthat the current dimension is part of.

Click On-handto view the inventory on-hand for the selected item dimension.

Item dimensions can also be created and maintained directly from the Item detailsform by clicking Setup, Configurations, Sizes, or Colors.

Default values for the dimensions can be specified. The default values are suggested when you create orders. Default values are set up from the ( Generaltab) of the Item details form. Select the default value in the Default configurationfield or in the Sizeand Colorfields.
