A set of user profiles can be created to match the different types of users who will configure items with the Product Builder. The user profiles are useful for controlling which modeling variables a specific user can see or change during item configuration.

1. Click Product Builder> Setup> User profiles.

2. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

3. In the User profilefield, type the name for the user profile. Appropriate user profile names include Sales and Sales agent.

4. Type the description of the user profile in the Descriptionfield.
