Use this tab to enter details about the servers on which Reporting Services is installed.

This tab displays details about your report servers as entered on the tab.

Use this tab to enter the name of the reports folder and data source.

Verifies that Microsoft Dynamics AX can communicate with your report servers.

Resets all fields to their default entries.

Creates a folder and data source in Reporting Services.

Opens the Default Report Serversform.

Description

Enter the name of the server on which Reporting Services is installed.

Enter a description to distinguish this report server from other report servers (if applicable).

For example, if you have a report server for each country in which you operate, you may want to enter Spain report serveror France report server.

Enter the URL to the Report Server virtual directory.

  • If you are using SSL on your report server, the URL is https://ServerName/reportserver.

  • If you are not using SSL, the URL is http://ServerName/reportserver.

Enter the URL to the Report Manager virtual directory.

  • If you are using SSL on your report server, the URL is https://ServerName/reports.

  • If you are not using SSL, the URL is http://ServerName/reports.

Microsoft Dynamics report folder

Enter a name for the folder that will be created in Reporting Services.

Data source name

Enter a name for the data source that will be created in Reporting Services.
