Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Lists sales order lines that are available for activation.

Gives details of the sales order containing the order line selected under the tab.

Select the sales order lines you want to work with in the form.

Activate or clear activation on selected sales orders.

Post the selected sales order lines with the items you want to ship.

Opens the form allowing you to update the remaining quantity on backorders.

Opens the form allowing you to list the orders and reservations on the selected item.

Allows you to perform various inventory related functions.

Update the selected sales order lines with current/updated information, for example, on-hand quantity.

Description

Select if you want to deduct from the on-hand inventory, the items that are not reserved on the picking list or output order, the next time you click to update the displayed order lines.

Date range selected in the query. If nothing is displayed then all dates are relevant.

Date the form was last updated with new data or a calculation.

Time when the form was last updated with new data or a calculation.

Classification group for prioritizing customers. The groups are set up in the form.

Ship date selected in the query.

Sales order number that the line is attached to.

Customer account number.

Item's identification code.

Inventory stock-keeping unit.

Quantity ordered in inventory units.

Quantity of items from the sales order line, in inventory units, that are not yet activated.

Quantity you would like to activate. Any quantity you enter in inventory units is automatically reserved from the physical quantity unless it is already reserved.

You can also select from the options under the button to clear or populate this field.

Indicates whether all orders with the same item number and inventory dimensions (storage location) can be delivered using the current on-hand inventory.

Indicate whether there is not sufficient on hand to cover the allocation for all sales backorders.

Indicate whether one or more production backorders need the same item.

Indicate whether one or more transfer orders exist for this item.

Percentage of the order that can be delivered.

Name of the customer.

Person for business related communication. Set up the names using the field.

Address to which you want to deliver the ordered goods.

Address of the customer's Internet homepage.

E-mail address of the customer's contact person.

Order status indicates how far the sales order has progressed in its cycle.

Indicates which document was last printed from the current order.

Deadline date for the sales order.

Quantity that has been packing slip updated and therefore has the status.

Quantity that has been picking list updated and therefore has the picked status.

Total quantity of the item that was physically reserved for the inventory dimension.

Quantity reserved from the quantity ordered on the order line.

Quantity to be reserved from the ordered quantity. This appears in the field.

Reserved quantity from all the picking lists.

Unreserved quantity from all the picking lists.

Quantity from the selected order line that has been ordered.

Short description of the item on the selected order line.

Physical quantity in the inventory.

Available quantity (not reserved) from the physical inventory.

On-hand quantity that is available for activation.
