General ledger> Fixed assets> Functions> Copy fixed asset

Use this form to copy the setup of a fixed asset to a new line to create a new fixed asset record, and then change the information, as necessary, for the new asset.

The new fixed asset has zero balances and no transactions.

If new fixed asset lines should be created automatically with new fixed asset numbers, select one of the following options: The Autonumber fixed assetscheck box in Parameters . The Autonumber fixed assetscheck box in Fixed asset groups . If you select one of the options, the Copy fixed assetform does not appear.
