Fields

There are four possible ABC category models, namely:

Categorize item numbers based on the sales for all item issues within the specified date interval. The calculation is made based on the inventory transactions.

Categorize item numbers based on the margin for all item issues in the specified date interval. The calculation is made based on the inventory transactions.

Categorize item numbers based on the current inventory value, which is calculated based on the inventory levels.

Categorize item numbers based on a calculated inventory carrying cost. That cost is calculated on the basis of the specified interest and the inventory transactions.

You specify the date interval, internal interest, percentage distribution, and model, and then run the job by clicking . The results are inserted in the items table in the ABC-code field that corresponds to the selected model, where A=highest percentage, B=middle percentage, and C=lowest percentage.
