Use this form to create and view sales forecast lines. You can create sales forecast lines for items, item groups, customer accounts, and customer groups.

For each forecast line, you select the forecast model to use and then specify the item plus the quantity - or the transaction amount. You can also set up a time schedule for allocating the forecast quantity.

The forecast model that the transaction is associated with.

Starting date for the transaction.

Customer that is involved in the current budget transaction.

Customer group that the transaction is attached to.

Identification of the item.

Item group that the transaction is associated with.

Item allocation key that is used in inventory forecast allocation.

Transaction quantity that is in the given sales unit.

Unit that the item is sold in.

Amount (gross amount less any discounts) that the forecast transaction contributes to the forecast.

Currency for the current forecast transaction. The default is entered automatically, but it can be changed.

The number of units of the time interval (Day(s), Month(s), Year(s)) that are jumped per transaction. For example; respectively, 1 and Month(s) for forecast allocated per month, or respectively, 3 and Month(s) for forecast allocated per quarter.

Period allocation key for allocating the forecast. See also Period allocation key (form).

Ending date when you are using and .

If you mark this field, the transaction is included in reporting.

You can enter a comment about the forecast transaction.

If you mark the transaction, it is included in reporting. The field cannot be edited for reporting transactions.

If you check this box, the forecast transaction is allocated to Ledger. The field cannot be edited for reporting transactions. See also Cash flow forecast transactions (form).

Tax group, if any, for specifying tax for the forecast transaction.

Item tax group, if any, for specifying tax for the forecast transaction.

Price per unit.

Number of sales units to which the sales price applies. The number is retrieved automatically from the items table, but it can be changed.

Fixed miscellaneous charges on the sales price. The charges are independent of quantity.

Cost for the current forecast transaction per inventory unit. The cost is retrieved automatically from the Items table, but it can be modified.

Discount expressed in percentage.

Discount expressed in amount per sales unit.

Transaction quantity expressed in the item's inventory unit.

BOM number of a specific sub-BOM. When blank, the active number is used.

Route number of a specific sub-route. When blank, the active number is used.

Project ID of the current transaction.

Cost category of the current transaction.

Status that the transaction is attached to.

Price per unit.

Record was last modified by user

Type or choose the expected invoice date.

View or edit the elimination date. When the forecast is created, the elimination date is set to the end date of the project. If the project has no end date, the project date is applied. Applies to fixed-price projects and investment projects. For more information, see

Size of the item

Color of the item.

Enter the warehouse where you want to store the items.

Enter the Batch number dimension. If you select and in the upper section of the / form, you can edit the batch number for the transfer order line.

Location inside a warehouse. If you select and in the upper section of the / form, you can edit the location number for the transfer order line.

Unique ID for the pallet (Serial Shipping Container Code).

Serial number dimension. If you select and in the upper section of the / form, you can edit the serial number for the transfer order line.
