If this field is empty, numbers are automatically allocated to new fixed assets from the number sequence that is selected on the Number sequencestab in the Parameters form, regardless of the fixed asset group.

If no number sequence is set up for fixed assets in the Parametersform, you must number the fixed assets manually.
