Set up master scheduling as a recurring batch job.

Enter the number of master scheduling iterations that you want performed during each master scheduling run. For each iteration, each intercompany company is scheduled according to the sequence that is defined in the field. A maximum of 30 iterations is possible.

Select the master scheduling method to use for the first iteration. The options are as follows:

  • – Deletes existing planned orders and generates new planned orders based on all known requirements.

  • – Generates planned orders to cover only new or changed requirements that have occurred since the last master scheduling run. However, action and futures dates are updated for all requirements. This option is available only if you calculate a dynamic master plan.

  • – Generates planned orders, together with action and futures dates, to cover only new or changed requirements that have occurred since the last master scheduling run. This option is available only if you calculate a dynamic master plan.
