Use this form to view messages (both inbound and outbound) in the Microsoft Dynamics AX queues for document exchanges that use adapters.

You can use the form to export a message that has an error, edit the document to fix the error, and then click on the form to resubmit the updated document to the queue for processing.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View a list of messages and related data in the internal queues for adapter-based exchanges, including channel, direction of transfer, status of transfer, source and destination endpoints, and any associated error messages.

View information about the selected message, and if allowed, change the message status or direction. View the Infolog entry for error messages associated with the transfer.

View details about the selected message, including submitting user, endpoint user ID, and creation date and time.

Description

Refreshes the list of messages in the queue to provide a current view of data that is being transferred.

Open the form to view stored copies of the XML for documents that are exchanged with Application Integration Framework (AIF). This form provides a record of the numbered versions of the document and the related processing steps, as well as the date and time for each log entry. This button is only available for messages that have been processed.

View the XML for the message that is being transferred. This button is only available for messages that have been processed.

Import a message to resubmit the updated document to the queue for processing. This button is only available for messages that have been processed.

View the Infolog entry for the error message. This button is only available for messages that have been processed.

The channel that is associated with the transfer, as defined on the form.

The direction of the transfer: inbound or outbound.

Status of the message:

  • (for inbound messages only)

  • (for outbound messages only)

If the status for a message is you can change it to , and vice versa. You can cancel (delete) or edit a particular message if its status is set to or .

The source endpoint for the message. For inbound messages, this is the external endpoint. For outbound messages, this is the local endpoint.

The name of the destination endpoint. For inbound messages, this is the local endpoint. For outbound messages, this is the external endpoint.

A description of the error for messages with the status .

The identification of the user who submitted the message. The user may be a trusted intermediary, as defined on the form.

The identification of the user who is associated with the endpoint, as defined on the form. If the default endpoint or an intercompany endpoint is used, the endpoint user is the same as the submitting user.

The date and time that the message was created.
