If a user is in the process of creating a new business relation and an identical business relation already exists, Microsoft Dynamics AX can be set up to issue either a warning or an error:

• If this field value is set to Warning, the user will receive a warning but will still be able to create and register the new business relation.

• If this field value is set to Error, the user will receive an error message and will not be able to create the new business relation.
