Administration> Reports> Security> User group permissions

Use the User group permissionsreport to display permissions for a selected group within a specific Microsoft Dynamics AX domain. Use this report to verify permissions for a specific group before you make changes. Or, use this report to create a consistent permissions policy across all groups.

To generate the report.

1. Select a user group and domain.

2. Select an option in the Viewingdrop-down list to select the report details. For a comprehensive report, select Security (incl. Web).

   Use the Viewingdrop-down list to filter menu items and security keys. These filters include the following:

   • Security– Microsoft Windows-related security elements, sorted alphabetically.

   • Security (incl. Web)– All security elements, including Web-specific elements, such as activity centers, deployment options, and cross functions, sorted alphabetically.

   • Country/Regional specific– Functions that are relevant for the individual countries/regions, sorted alphabetically.

   • Add-Ins– Functions that are structured according to the Add-ins menu within the Microsoft Dynamics AX application runtime.

   • Main menu– Functions that are structured according to the main menu within the Microsoft Dynamics AX application runtime.

   • Task Panes– Functions that are structured according to the Task panes menu within the Microsoft Dynamics AX application runtime.

   • Tools– Functions that are structured according to the Tools menu within the Microsoft Dynamics AX application runtime.

   • Work center - Job– Functions that are structured according to the Work center - Job menu within the Microsoft Dynamics AX application runtime.

   • Workflow– Functions that sort menu items related to a given workflow with the correct permissions.

3. To change the current output medium and its properties, click Options.

4. Click OK.
