If a Microsoft MAPI-compliant mail system is installed, and if the Mail options have been set correctly in the E-mail parameters form, the e-mail function enables e-mail messages to be sent directly to the address that is typed in the e-mail text box.

Click the envelope icon next to the e-mail text box. The Send maildialog box from the mail system appears with the address already entered.
