When a new activity is created, Microsoft Dynamics AX automatically generates a unique activity number. The activity number cannot be changed by the user.
If the activity is synchronized with Microsoft Outlook, the field is transferred as text to the Outlook task or appointment.

When an employee creates an activity, that employee is the organizer of the activity.
If the organizer enters other employees in the field, separate activities are automatically generated for each employee. Each activity has a unique activity number.
