Use this form to limit the number of attempts to resend an e-mail message when the first attempt fails. You also can define the time period between each attempt to send messages.
For SMTP-based e-mail messages, we recommend that you set up retry schedules that will not overload the e-mail system. Intervals specified to resend failed e-mail messages must increase gradually. For example, the first attempt could happen after one minute, the second after one hour, then four hours, and then a day.
