This field gives you the option of pricing items that are not purchased per unit, but in larger units—for example, 1 pack of 100 units for 24.75. When the invoice for the purchase line is updated, the item receipt is posted in inventory with the value per unit. If the standard price unit of the item is other than 1, you can specify the unit in the field in the Price and Discounttable.
