Use this form to calculate the estimated cost and sales prices for production lines. These estimates are based on estimated item consumption according to the BOM, and route consumption according to the route. You can run price calculation as part of the update, and you also can run price calculation separately.

To run the price calculation separately, do not select the check box in the form. You can run the price calculation update manually by clicking > > > .


When the calculation is finished, you can see the estimated consumption and costs, and any realized consumption and costs that are recorded when posting production journals in the form. Click > Common Forms> . Select the production line and then click > .

The production order number to calculate. If you access the price calculation from the form, the field contains the current production. You can select from all productions or use the button to filter productions.

Enter the date for running the price calculation.

Specify the profit-setting model to use for the price calculation. Profit setting is used to calculate sales prices for the production components and jobs. The data that is used in the calculation is set up as follows:

Example

You can attach multiple profit settings to a cost group to set up profits in a market area so that you earn 20 percent profit from distributors and 35 percent from consumers, for example.

Select the check box to calculate prices for any subproductions or upper-level productions that are attached to the current production. To view references to the current production, open the form, click , and then click .
