Open order

When the purchase line is created, the status is Open order. Even if a partial delivery is subsequently made on the order, the status type will continue to be Open order.

Received

If the balance of the purchase line is delivered so that no backorder remains, the status changes to Received. This means that the order line has been received in full.

Invoiced

Only when the invoice has been updated for the whole order line does the status change to Invoiced.

Canceled

If you explode a BOM item, the BOM components are listed in the order lines. The line status of the BOM item is set to Canceled, but the components are set to Open order.

If you close an order line in the posting form, the line status is also set to Canceled.
