A BI project is used to create a cube. Use this form to select time dimensions and translation options for your BI projects.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Use this tab to select the database that you are using, and to set logging options. |
Time Dimensions |
Use this tab to select time dimensions for your BI projects. |

Use this tab to select the languages that table and field names that must be translated into. |

Fields

Microsoft SQL Server |
Select this option if you are using a Microsoft SQL Server database. |
Oracle |
Select this option if you are using an Oracle database. |
Enable logging |
Select this check box if you want to record data about generating and updating BI projects in a log file. We recommend that you enable logging for troubleshooting purposes only. |
Log file |
Location where the log file will be saved. If you want the log file saved to a different location, enter the location. |
Use the standard calendar |
Select this check box to generate time dimensions using the standard calendar. Then do the following:

Use the fiscal calendar |
Select this check box to generate time dimensions using the fiscal calendar. Then do the following:

Create metadata translations |
Select this check box to translate table and field names into other languages. |
Generate |
Select the check box for each language that you want table and field names translated into. |
Language |
The list includes all languages for which you have a valid license. |
