Use this form to create customer classification groups in order to prioritize customers.

You can apply the customer classification in relation to sales order picking. In the Release sales order picking form, you can filter records in order to pick specific sales orders to be released. You can also apply the customer classification as a sorting criterion.

Example

You have an item that is in short supply and have a large number of sales orders. Therefore, you are not able to complete the orders for all customers. You use the Release sales order picking job to select the customers whose sales orders you want to release. You base picking on the customer classification that you defined in the Customer classification groupsform.
