Use this form to transfer information about a selected BOM calculation result to the originating line item in a sales order or sales quotation. You can selectively transfer the calculated sales price, the quantity used in the calculation, and the versions of the bill and route used in the calculation.
Examples
A manufacturing company calculated a manufactured item's sales price each time that they received a sales order or sales quotation for the item. The calculated sales price was based on a cost-plus markup approach, where the calculated costs for each material component reflected information about the bill of material (BOM) and the purchase price trade agreements that were in effect for the specified shipping date. After performing BOM calculations for a line item, the company selected a BOM calculation result and transferred the sales price information to the originating line item.
