When you create a subscription, the base price is obtained from the price set up in the form and entered in this field.

When you create a subscription, the base price is created in the following way. The system searches through the form for a sales price with the same period code and currency. Then it searches for the criteria in the following table in descending priority.
For example, if you create a subscription (SV_0000) with category ABC1 and Project 40400, the system searches to find a price with the category ABC1, Project 40400, and Subscription SV_0000.
