Using this feature, transactions sharing the same lot number can be grouped into a single transaction again. The function serves the opposite purpose of splitting. However, all fields, with the exception of the Quantityand Sumfields, must be identical. Regular automatic compilations of transactions are automatically carried out if that is specified in the inventory parameters in the Automatic additionfield.

Note
If there are settlement transactions for the current item, then no grouping can take place. The same is true for canceled inventory closes.
