Create an identification for the journal name.

Description

Describe the journal.

Journal type

Select a journal type to indicate what the journal is used for.

Delete lines after posting

Select this check box to delete journal lines when posting is completed.

Private for user group

Select a user group that the journal is private to.

Pallet transports

Select this check box to indicate that the items registered in the journal should be moved with the help of pallet transports.

If you do not specify either a location of the Inbound docktype or a Pallet IDtype, the journal is not posted successfully. You must select the Check picking locationcheck box, the Check bulk locationscheck box, or both.

Check picking location

Select this check box if you want the system to check for room for the item in its normal picking location. Set up the picking location in the Warehouse itemsform ( Inventory management> Common Forms> Item details> Setup> Warehouse items).

Check bulk locations

Select this check box if you want a bulk location for the item in consideration of the item's store zone.

Set up the store zone in the Warehouses form.

NoteIf you selected the Check picking locationoption and there is room at the picking location, no bulk location is found.
