The current definition of the three dimensions— Department, Cost center, and Purpose—can be changed in the database. You can also increase or reduce the number of dimensions. However, in order to guarantee uniform tracking functionality, you need to decide how dimensions will be used before you start working with them in the system.

You can choose to define your dimensions as follows:

• Department: Sales department

• Cost center: Retail sales group

• Purpose: Sales representative number

With this setup, you can analyze the sales progress of individual sales representatives within the company.
