Use this form to convert units for a particular item number in the form. For example, you can convert units when large volumes of raw materials are purchased and you need units that can be used in production. The unit is converted using a specified conversion factor.

When converting, Microsoft Dynamics AX first checks whether a specific conversion has been created for the item. If not, Microsoft Dynamics AX uses the general conversion without item number. It is not necessary to re-convert. For example, if you have converted from ounces to pounds, you do not need to convert from pounds to ounces. |
