This topic is an example of using a non-regular subscription type. Suppose that you have created a subscription using a subscription group that has a monthly period code.
The time frame of the subscription from February 16, 2006 to May 17, 2006 does not follow the start dates and the end dates of the period code, which is the start and end days of each month. Therefore, you select the option.
The following subscription transactions are created:
Start date |
End date |
Subscription type |
---|---|---|
February 16 |
February 28 |
|
March 1 |
March 31 |
|
April 1 |
April 30 |
|
May 1 |
May 17 |
|
The first and last transactions are created as non-regular transactions because they do not follow the periods generated for the subscription. When possible, transactions are created for a whole month and these transactions are created as regular transactions.
