Inventory management> Periodic> Bills of materials> Change BOM item

Use this form to change items in selected bills of materials (BOMs) or all BOMs, or to attach additional items to the existing items in the BOMs.

Select

Limit or define the data to be queried or acted upon. If you do not limit the data, the program utilizes all relevant data.

You can view the key entries that you made in the Selectquery in gray display fields on the form.

Start the query or function.

Cancel

Cancel the entries you made in the Selectquery, and leave the query or function.

Edit BOM line

Change the set up of the BOM lines.

Field	Description
To item number	Choose an item that you want to replace the old BOM item.
Update lines	Use Overwriteto substitute an item in a BOM. Use Appendto substitute an item in a BOM from a certain date. After you have clicked Append, in the Update lineslist enter a date in the From item number valid untilfield and the To item number valid fromfield.
From item number valid until	Enter a date from which the old BOM item is no longer valid.
To item number valid from	Enter a date from which the new BOM item is valid.
