Inventory management> Periodic> Forecast> Entry> Item groups

Use this form to view a list of item groups and to see whether there are existing forecast lines for each item group. An existing forecast is indicated when the Purchase forecastor the Sales forecastfields are selected.

You can also access the Purchaseand Salesforms to create new forecast lines or update existing ones.

Buttons

Button	Description
Purchase	Open the Purchase form to create a forecast or update an existing forecast for the selected item group.
Sales	Open the Sales form to create a forecast or update an existing forecast for the selected item group.
Inventory forecast	For an item group with an existing purchase or sales forecast, open the Inventory forecast form to view projected inventory transactions and balances.

Fields

Field	Description
Item group	Identifying code for the Item group.
Name	Descriptive name for the Item group, for example, the name used on reports.
