Use this form to view and process planned purchase, transfer, and production orders. Planned orders are generated by master scheduling or forecast scheduling to cover requirements. You can also create them manually.

From the form, you can firm planned orders, change their status, view requirements in multiple levels, and more. If the selected line is a planned production order, you can view the related BOM, route, jobs, and capacity reservations, and you can also reschedule the order.

Enter settings to filter the data that is displayed on the tab and the tab.

If the multisite functionality is not activated, the check box and field are not available, and you cannot filter by site.

View component requirements for a BOM.

View the route and individual operations that are attached to the selected planned production order.

View the jobs that are associated with the selected planned production order.

Open the following submenu items:

  • – View the results of the latest master scheduling or forecast scheduling for the item.

  • – View all related levels of requirements. This could be both lower-level item requirements and the source-level requirements.

  • – View reserved capacity for the selected planned production order.

Open various batch jobs to conveniently process one or more planned orders.

Open various forms to view item availability and configure the display of item dimensions on the form.

Select the plan you want to view in the form.

The item identification.

The configuration of the item.

The warehouse where the item is stored.

The size of the item.

The color of the item.

The identification of the site.

The latest starting or ordering date.

The order delivery date.

The planned order quantity. The planned order quantity can differ from the required quantity if, for example, the item has a minimum order quantity.

The primary vendor for the planned purchase order. You can view additional information on vendors, trade agreements, and external item descriptions.

The processing status for the planned order.

The transaction type of the planned order.

The order number, project number, or production number.

The number of units to purchase.

Select the unit that the item is purchased in. This may differ from the inventory unit, which is shown in the field.

The source transaction of the requirement.

The reference number of the transaction.

The requirement date for the transaction, including any safety margin. This could be the delivery date for a sales order, the planned ending date for a production order, or the forecast date for a forecast line, for example.

The total requirement quantity for the transaction in inventory units.

The source plan of the selected planned order.

The inventory dimension identification number for the selected planned order.

When this check box is selected, the planned order was generated on the basis of a purchase forecast.

The item group that the planned item belongs to. For more information, see Item group (form).

The buyer group for the planned order. The program retrieves this information first from the supplier and then from the item. When you create a planned order manually, the buyer group is always retrieved from the item.

The vendor group that the assigned vendor belongs to.

The date that the item should be available for issue.

The time that the item is required.

The scheduled date for the start of the transfer.

The scheduled date for the end of the transfer.

The scheduled start time.

Enter the purchase order number to use when firming the planned order. The number must exist in advance. Also, the supplier must be the same as that on the planned order.

Select the unit in which the item is purchased. This may differ from the field, which is the inventory unit.

The transfer order to use when firming the planned order.

The date when the order is delivered.

The BOM that is used.

The route number that is used.

The item number for the current item.

The suggested action to carry out for the item. The options are:

  • None

  • Advance the transaction date

  • Postpone the transaction date

  • Increase the quantity

  • Decrease the quantity

  • Advance the transaction date and increase the quantity

  • Advance the transaction date and decrease the quantity

  • Postpone the transaction date and increase the quantity

  • Postpone the transaction and decrease the quantity

  • Cancel the transaction

The suggested number of days, positive or negative, that the transaction date should be advanced by or postponed by based on the action message.

The suggested date that the transaction should be postponed to or advanced to based on the action message.

The suggested quantity of the item that the transaction should be changed to based on the action message.

The suggested quantity of the item by which the transaction should be increased or decreased based on the action message.

The item identification.

The futures message to delay the transaction.

The number of days that the transaction is delayed.

The date that the requirement can be met.

The planned order type.

The order number, project number, or production number.

The item quantity in inventory units.

The user who firmed the proposal.

The date when the planned order was firmed.
