Use this form to associate a fallback warehouse with a site. The fallback warehouse is used in the following ways:

  • A site is provided for a sales order but no warehouse is provided.

  • To receive sales orders through intercompany, Enterprise Portal, or AIF (Application Integration Framework).

  • To calculate the transport time from the shipping point to the receiving point when a site but no warehouse has been specified on the sales order or the sales quotation line. In this case, the fallback warehouse associated with the site is used to determine the transport time.

Note Note

If the multisite functionality is not activated but a warehouse is defined as a mandatory dimension in the item dimension group, the fallback warehouse is used.
