With Product Builder user profiles, you can customize a product model's Product Builder configurationand Product Builder approvalforms for specific user groups. Use this functionality to control the user interface for different types of users when they configure products through the Internet.

User profiles can be used in product models to control which variables the user sees during the configuration process. The user can then determine values for those variables during the item configuration.

Employees are attached to a user profile in the User profilefield on the Overviewtab in the Employeeform ( Basic> Employeeor Human Resources> Employee).
